About

Za'atar Euro Bistro

Chefs & Owners

Welcome to Zaatar Bistro, a culinary haven born from the collective passion of three Lebanese brothers, each bringing a unique blend of expertise and experience to the table. Our journey began with a shared love for our home country, Lebanon, and a desire to bring the vibrant flavors of its cuisine to the heart of North Fresno, California.

As brothers, we come from diverse professional backgrounds, each contributing a distinct skill set to the creation of Zaatar Bistro. From our eldest brother’s extensive experience in restaurant management and food service to the second brother’s background in operations and marketing, and the third brother’s roots in the entertainment industry, our diverse talents converge to form the foundation of our establishment.

Drawing inspiration from the rich culinary heritage of Lebanon, we chose the name “Zaatar” as an homage to one of the most beloved and ubiquitous ingredients in Lebanese cuisine. Just as zaatar enhances the flavor of every dish it graces, we aim to infuse our menu with the essence of our homeland while also embracing a fusion of international influences.

At Zaatar Bistro, we celebrate diversity on every plate, offering a tantalizing array of cuisines to satisfy every palate. While our roots lie in the Mediterranean, we proudly showcase flavors from around the globe, including American classics that reflect the melting pot of cultures we embrace.

Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the kitchen, as we strive to create a dining experience that transcends mere sustenance. With warm hospitality and a genuine passion for sharing our culinary heritage, we invite you to join us at Zaatar Bistro, where every meal is a celebration of family, culture, and the joy of good food.

Thank you for embarking on this journey with us. Together, let us savor the flavors of Lebanon and beyond, one delicious bite at a time.
